Who is Mama Adeng? She is Anicia Joson-Regis, otherwise known as Mama Adeng, the extraordinary, kindly and humorous president and chief executive officer of emergent entertainment company Regis Films and Entertainment Inc. (Regis Films) and president and general manager of Sunway International Manpower Services Inc. with business address at 1120 President Elpidio Quirino Avenue, Malate Manila.

The event was held at One Castilla Place, Castilla Street, Valencia Hills, Quezon City. “We believe in strengthening the basic unit of our society — the family.
“A partner of the government, learning institutions and spiritual formators in inculcating values to Filipino children and youth, we aim to provide wholesome and educational entertainment, both in films and shows,” Regis expands.
Dionesia Pacquiao of the Tatlong Bibe the movie had an exclusive interview via Skype. Cast members Marco Masa, Lyca Gairanod and Raikko Matteo with Ernie Garcia graced the event.
Tatlong Bibe the movie as directed by Joven Tan is Regis Films’ initial full-length offering with an invitational premiere, which was described as “full of elegance like a ballet performance at Cultural Center of the Philippines.” It was held on February 13 at Megamall Cinema 1. Focusing on the real cherished values of love, hope, giving, sharing and forgiving, the movie emphasizes the role of children in articulating these values in true ways.

About three rural-based children (played by Matteo, Gairanod and Masa) whose paths cross while searching for three ducks, the film shows how the purity of their young lives intersect with the troubled lives of broken adults (headlined by Eddie Garcia and Pacquiao), which leads to a surge of optimism and gratitude. Their spirituality is awakened and leads to eventual redemption.
Others in the star-studded cast are Rita Avila, Sharlene San Pedro, Victor Neri, Luis Alandy, Edgar Allan Guzman, Ronnie Lazaro, Anita Linda and JK Labajo. Also included are Perla Bautista, Nikki Valdez, Lou Veloso, Janna Trias, Dianne Medina and Garcia.
Born and raised in Sta. Rosa, Nueva Ecija, Regis is married to Bert Regis. They have one son and three daughters. An award-winning recruitment expert, she has a solid experience in various capacities as a professional and a business owner since 1983.
It was Edith Fider, who is Regis Films’ chief operating officer and managing partner, who encouraged her to produce a film about faith based on Typhoon “Yolanda” victims. Fider proposed that 10 percent of gross proceeds should go to charity, which Regis approved of. This resulted in Tatlong Bibe The Movie.
“We plan to produce and import films and mount concerts and produce recordings by our signed talents,” shares Regis about their short-term plans.
The initial shortlist of premium talents includes homegrown band Endangered Species; Mark Mabasa, who is a David Foster protégé; and Tem Five, girl group from the Philippines based in South Korea.
